Why train your dog!

Responsible dog owners want to develop a good relationship with their dog. It may be that you have already attended puppy training and you now want to build on the skills you learnt or it may be you have not been to any sort of training but now want to learn. Either way Pett-Behaviour training can help you learn how to teach your dog skills to make life more enjoyable for both of you.
Training at Pett-Behaviour use reward based methods to ensure your dog does what you want him to do because he wants to do it.
Our classes are fun and we will teach you how to communicate effectively with your dog.

Course content
· Dog communication
· Basic commands
· Walking nicely on lead
· Jumping up
· Checking and handling
· Grooming
· Mouthing and biting
· Recall
· Basic health care

You will be given a full pack of training handouts on the first week, these should cover most things you need to know and you will also have the opportunity to ask questions each week.
We have a break for refreshments where you can talk to the training team or look at the items and books which we have for sale. Pet Dog Class normally runs at Queensbury, Bradford on Thursdays at 8pm. and Cottingley, Bradford on Wednesdays at 8pm.
